Amazon has reportedly picked up two seasons of the animated DC show Batman: Caped Crusader, which was cancelled by Warner Bros. Discovery as a cost-cutting measure. Produced by J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, and Bruce Timm, the show promises to explore the psychology of iconic characters, while diving deeper into Batman’s noir roots. Caped Crusader joins a growing library of animated shows on Amazon’s Prime Video subscription service, including Invincible, The Legend of Vox Machina, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and Fairfax.
