Why fans should care
Knightfall is a defining 1990s arc where Bane frees Arkham’s inmates to exhaust Batman, leading to their brutal showdown that changes Gotham’s status quo. If you are new to the character, Bane is a strategist and powerhouse who studies Batman before striking, which is why this storyline looms so large in Bat history.
