Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the first teaser for “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” the eagerly awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s 1988 cult classic, featuring the original enigmatic poltergeist portrayed by Michael Keaton and a returning Winona Ryder as Lydia. The teaser recaptures the original’s essence with nods to iconic elements such as Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O,” Danny Elfman’s chilling score, and the memorable red bridge and model town settings. Alongside Ryder, Catherine O’Hara returns as Delia Deetz, with Jenna Ortega joining as a fresh face. The teaser climaxes with Beetlejuice’s iconic emergence, promising a mix of nostalgia and new twists. The sequel, set to release on September 6, brings back original stars and introduces new characters played by Monica Bellucci and Willem Dafoe, among others, aiming to enchant audiences much like its predecessor did.
