Taika Waititi is on fire lately with Thor Ragnarok, Jojo Rabbit, and the Mandalorian. He is now being tapped to direct a future Star Wars film by Disney. He will also be co-writing on the movie with Lesly Headland. Headland recently worked on Russian Doll, Bachelorette, and a yet to be title new Star Wars series for Disney Plus. Star Wars is still shaping the future for the franchise following the conclusion of the Skywalker Saga.
