Quentin Tarantino’s long-talked-about unified cut of Kill Bill finally has a trailer, and it confirms a nationwide theatrical run on December 5, 2025. The preview frames the saga as one continuous revenge story, now billed as an “unrated epic” presented as the director intended.

If you’re new to the project, The Whole Bloody Affair merges Volume 1 and Volume 2 into a single four-plus-hour feature, removing the Vol. 1 cliffhanger and the recap that opens Vol. 2. It also adds a new seven-and-a-half-minute animated sequence that Tarantino has wanted in the cut for years.

The trailer teases fresh and restored material, including the fan-famous Crazy 88 showdown playing in full color instead of the black-and-white version used for ratings in 2003. Expect a bloodier look at that sequence and other connective tissue that makes the story feel like one film from start to finish.

Lionsgate says the release will screen in premium 70mm and 35mm where available, and exhibitors are planning for an intermission to make the marathon runtime comfortable in theaters. For longtime fans and first-timers, this is the version Tarantino has always described as the definitive way to see Beatrix Kiddo’s journey.
