Blizzard is officially bringing BlizzCon back as a two-day, in-person event at the Anaheim Convention Center on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026. The show’s return follows a multi-year gap since 2023 and marks a full comeback for Blizzard’s community convention in its longtime home.
Early bird passes go on sale Friday, November 7, 2025 at 9 a.m. PST and run through Sunday, November 9 at 11:59 p.m. PST for an all-in price of $249.99. If you miss that window, standard passes open Tuesday, November 18 at 9 a.m. PST for $289.99, also all-in. Blizzard is using Tixr for sales and has raised the per-account purchase limit to four. Each pass covers both show days and includes in-game goodies and commemorative items.

Two optional add-ons are back. BlizzCon Charity Night is priced at $499.99 with proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish and includes a reserved section for the Opening Ceremony, a signed Blizzard artwork piece, and a collectible credential. The Darkmoon Faire After Hours add-on costs $89.99 and gets you a three-hour Saturday evening session inside the Faire and BlizzCon Store plus 20 Faire Tokens and a collectible credential. Both add-ons require a BlizzCon pass and are extremely limited.
Programming hits the familiar notes with some new touches. Expect an Opening Ceremony in Hall D with first-come seating and simulcast viewing throughout the venue, playable stations for World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, and Diablo Immortal, a resurrected Blizzard Arcade with classics like StarCraft and Heroes of the Storm, and developer panels across multiple stages, including a new Classic Stage. Community Night and the March of the Murlocs return, along with an Inclusion Nexus space and a Hearthstone Tavern area that now features its own content stage.

Esports will have a major footprint. Blizzard lists the Overwatch World Cup, WoW Arena World Championship, Mythic Dungeon International, the Hearthstone Masters Tour World Championship, and the inaugural Blizzard Classic Cup among the headline competitions planned for the weekend.
If you are planning the trip, Blizzard has a hotel portal with discounted Anaheim rates and notes that event policies and accessibility details are available now. If you cannot attend, the Opening Ceremony and major panels will be livestreamed free, with info on virtual goodies to come closer to the show.
For context, Blizzard first confirmed the 2026 return back in March 2025, positioning the show’s comeback after pausing the event in 2024 and focusing on other activations in 2025. Today’s pass details lock in the dates, prices, and a high-level schedule almost a year in advance.
