Episode 7 is the season’s wildest hour so far. A plan to blindside Parvati sets off a chain reaction, a surprise second Tribal Council arrives with no time to reset, and two players leave. It is thrilling to watch and rough on anyone who did not prepare for a second vote.
The Twist That Broke the Night
Everyone walks into Tribal Council expecting one vote. After a scramble of whispers, Kass is blindsided. Jonathan then tells them to stay seated because there will be another challenge and another Tribal Council. The twist delivers great television, but it punishes the player who planned for only one round. Tommi wins the first Individual Immunity and still goes home in the second vote.
Tommi and Kass Take a Shot at Parvati
With the necklace on, Tommi pushes a move on Parvati and pulls Kass and Lisa into the plan. The idea is sound. Break up Parvati and Cirie before the numbers tighten. Lisa hesitates and floats the plan to Luke and Shonee while saying she will not write Parvati’s name. Parvati senses the shift, puts her Immunity Idol on at Tribal Council, then flashes Knowledge Is Power to spook Kass. Kass plays her idol on Lisa, and the votes land on Kass instead. It is a clean blindside, born from a late leak and a perfectly timed bluff.
Lisa Tries to Stay Loyal and Pays for It
Lisa wants to keep faith with her allies. By trying to have it both ways, she ends up with neither. She shares the Parvati plan but declines to vote for Parvati herself, which reads as wanting the move without the blood. Luke calls it out at Tribal Council, and the room turns on the International trio. In the second Tribal Council, Lisa even considers quitting to save Tommi, only to be told that a quit would still lead to a vote and would remove her from the jury. She stays, and Tommi still goes. Loyalty without commitment leaves her exposed.
Was the Double Tribal Council Fair to Tommi
Tommi did not get a real chance to reset between councils. He had safety in the first round, then had only minutes for another challenge in the dark and a fresh round of live scrambling. The twist made the hour electric, but it stacked the deck against the player who had just proven value in the challenge. His exit reflects the cost of the format more than a read on his long game.

Why This Episode Worked
Both challenges leaned on balance and nerve, which kept the focus on decision making instead of another standard puzzle. Tommi wins the first by stacking cards while managing a leaky bucket and a balance beam. Luke wins the second by steadying a platform with ropes while placing balls in channels. These designs give strategy room to breathe and set the stage for live counter moves at Tribal Council.

The Bigger Picture
U.S. star power still bends the board. Parvati’s idol and Knowledge Is Power presence shape two votes without her spending either. Cirie reads the room calmly and follows the story that rings true. The Australians gain ground through hustle, but proximity to Parvati can be either a shield or shrapnel depending on the moment.
Verdict
Episode 7 is messy in the best way. Tommi and Kass make a marquee play, Lisa tries to be loyal and gets grouped with the rebels, and a surprise second council turns one bold idea into a disastrous night for two players. It is unforgettable television that also raises a fair question about how much preparation a twist should allow.
