Tramell Tillman is set to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a role in Spider-Man Brand New Day. The character is not public yet, but the casting lines up with Marvel and Sony building a fresh chapter for Tom Holland’s Peter Parker. The film is scheduled for July 31, 2026 with Destin Daniel Cretton directing.

Fans know Tillman best as Mr Milchick on Severance, where his calm presence turns unsettling in an instant. He also appeared in Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning and voiced a character in Marvel’s Hit Monkey. That mix of intensity and control makes him a strong fit for a New York story that balances street level grit with big screen spectacle.

Brand New Day is already stacking a notable ensemble. Sadie Sink is attached in a secret role. Jon Bernthal returns as The Punisher and Mark Ruffalo is back as Hulk. Michael Mando is set to reprise Mac Gargan, better known to comic readers as Scorpion. None of this answers who Tillman is playing, but it does suggest a story that touches multiple corners of the MCU while still keeping Peter at the center.

Cameras are rolling in Glasgow, which is standing in for New York City. Set clips show Holland’s Spider Man riding and swinging around a moving tank, plus quieter moments of Peter at a cemetery and scenes with Zendaya’s MJ. The studio has not revealed plot details, so the first teaser will likely be the moment that sets the tone and offers the best clues about Tillman’s role.

For now the takeaway is simple. Spider-Man Brand New Day is bringing in a breakout actor who can be warm one moment and icy the next. That energy pairs well with a Peter Parker who has grown through loss and is ready to build a new life in a city that never slows down.
