Netflix stirred up serious excitement during this year’s One Piece Day celebrations by dropping the first look teaser for One Piece Season 2, officially titled Into the Grand Line, with viewers now headed for a 2026 release.

The teaser offers glimpses of our beloved Straw Hat crew including Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), Nami (Emily Rudd), Zoro (Mackenyu), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar) as they navigate perilous new waters. New additions include Captain Smoker (Callum Kerr), Miss All Sunday/Nico Robin (Lera Abova), Miss Wednesday (Charithra Chandran), Brogy (Brendan Murray), and the CGI enhanced Tony Tony Chopper voiced by Mikaela Hoover.

We are finally heading into the Grand Line, with stops at iconic manga arcs like Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and possibly Drum Island.

In a bold display of confidence, Netflix has already given the series a Season 3 renewal, with production poised to begin later this year in Cape Town. Joe Tracz will step into co showrunner duties alongside Ian Stokes, hinting at an expanded creative direction.

Why it matters: This teaser is more than just a glimpse. It is a declaration. Netflix is doubling down on its commitment to faithfully bringing Oda’s epic saga to life. Between the fan favorite characters, dream casting, and glimpses of familiar manga arcs, this teaser looks to balance adventure, heart, and spectacle.
