Blizzard’s iconic action RPG is stepping away from screens and into living rooms with Diablo: The Roleplaying Game, a full tabletop experience coming in summer 2026.
Glass Cannon Unplugged and Genuine Entertainment are teaming up on the adaptation, with Joe LeFavi leading production. He previously worked on The Walking Dead Universe Roleplaying Game. A crowdfunding campaign is planned for fall 2025.

This new RPG is designed to deliver the dark fantasy and loot-driven progression Diablo is known for, using original systems tailored for tabletop. The core rulebook spans more than 300 pages of lore, game mechanics, artwork, and maps. It leans into progression-based gameplay, letting players gear up with magical items and unleash combos as they take on mobs of enemies.
Players can create characters from classic Diablo classes including Barbarian, Druid, Rogue, Sorcerer, and Necromancer. These characters grow more powerful through skill trees and equipment upgrades, giving the game a familiar but fresh progression curve.

Also coming is a one-shot adventure anthology featuring writers from across the RPG world. Contributors include Cullen Bunn (Harrow County), John Harper (Blades in the Dark), Graham McNeill (Warhammer), Micky Neilson (Diablo), Francesco Nepitello and Umberto Pignatelli (The Lord of the Rings), MJ Newman (Arkham Horror), Gregory Thomazo (Shadows of Esteren), and others. These standalone quests are built to feel like Diablo missions with a strong narrative focus and plenty of monster-slaying.
With a mix of cinematic combat, deep customization, and narrative flexibility, Diablo: The Roleplaying Game could be a strong new entry in the RPG space for both longtime fans and newcomers alike.
