The second trailer for Tron: Ares has dropped, giving us a deeper look into Disney’s return to the iconic digital frontier. This time, the story flips the script; Ares, a highly advanced Program played by Jared Leto, is sent from the digital world into ours, in what’s being called humanity’s first real contact with artificial intelligence.
Directed by Joachim Rønning (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales), Tron: Ares brings together a stacked cast that includes Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and the legendary Jeff Bridges.
Visually, the trailer is sleek and moody, with the glowing aesthetic fans expect from Tron, but this time paired with real-world settings and bigger stakes. This isn’t just a return to the Grid—it’s the Grid coming to us.
