After over a year away from the mic, the Disney Moms Gone Wrong podcast has made its return—and it’s everything fans hoped it would be. In their candid and often hilarious reunion episode, hosts Susie, Diana, and Sarah dive into what’s changed, what hasn’t, and why the chaos of motherhood deserves a permanent seat at the podcasting table.

Their last episode aired in June 2023, and in that time, each host has lived a full season of life. Diana shared her deeply personal journey through separation, job changes, and a difficult pregnancy that included medical complications and a tough postpartum recovery. Despite it all, she continues to show up for her kids and her friends with vulnerability and humor, reminding listeners that “you just never know what someone is going through.”

Susie’s story centered around her identity outside of parenting and school. With graduate school looming and time management becoming a daily battle, she’s been focused on rediscovering what makes her happy. Her reading habits may skew toward nonfiction books like Why Nations Fail, but she’s also been exploring new artistic outlets and reevaluating what self-care looks like in her busy life.

Sarah, who admits she’s on “Team No Sleep” thanks to her kids’ nightly invasions of her bed, has leaned into her love for spontaneous travel, books, and experiences. A recent trip to England helped her tap into the version of herself that exists outside of “mom mode,” a theme that resonates deeply throughout the episode.

The heart of the conversation, however, is community. As all three hosts reflect on how their personal lives evolved during the break, it’s clear that the podcast—and the friendship it represents—has been a source of strength, humor, and healing. Whether it was flowers on Valentine’s Day or checking in after long silences, their “village” stayed strong even off the mic.

The moms also addressed what’s new for the podcast moving forward. Episodes will now follow a fixed recording schedule, whether or not all three hosts are available. Guest hosts and new voices will be welcomed to keep things fresh and flexible. Longtime fans can also look forward to the return of “Chesney’s Corner,” a fan-favorite segment featuring Diana’s daughter, now with a new twist—each segment will include an interview with the episode’s host.

This episode wasn’t about a Disney movie or show—it was about the hosts themselves, their growth, and the power of community. It set the tone for what’s to come: honest conversations, flexibility in the face of parenting chaos, and a commitment to joy, even when everything feels a little “gone wrong.”

Whether you’re a longtime listener or new to the show, now’s the perfect time to hop back in.
