SPOILERS
Marvel Studios has officially announced that Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson will reprise their roles as Karen Page and Foggy Nelson in the second season of “Daredevil: Born Again.” This confirmation comes on the heels of the series’ two-episode premiere on March 4, which reintroduced audiences to the gritty world of Hell’s Kitchen.
In a recent interview, Marvel’s Head of Streaming, TV, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, expressed his enthusiasm about the actors’ return. “Without delving into spoilers, I can confirm that both Deborah and Elden are set to return for Season 2,” Winderbaum stated. He further emphasized the integral role of their characters, saying, “I don’t think there’s a Matt Murdock story without those two characters, and I’m excited to see them both in Season 2 as well.”

The premiere episode delivered a shocking twist with the death of Foggy Nelson, portrayed by Henson, at the hands of Benjamin Poindexter, also known as Bullseye. This unexpected turn has left fans speculating about Foggy’s involvement in the upcoming season. Winderbaum addressed this narrative choice, explaining, “The story needed it to happen. Matt had to struggle with his own internal demons in a way that only an event like that could bring about.”
Deborah Ann Woll’s character, Karen Page, made appearances in the debut episode, with her storyline indicating a move to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s version of San Francisco. Despite this geographical shift, fans can anticipate her return in Season 2, ensuring the continuation of her complex relationship with Matt Murdock.
The return of these pivotal characters underscores Marvel’s commitment to preserving the rich narrative tapestry of “Daredevil.” As Season 1 unfolds, viewers can look forward to a deeper exploration of Matt Murdock’s journey, enriched by the enduring presence of Karen Page and the anticipated return of Foggy Nelson
