Ruaridh Mollica, whose distinctive performance in HBO’s satirical series The Franchise won him attention, is set to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as a series regular on Disney+’s upcoming superhero series Vision, industry sources confirmed.

The new series, a spinoff stemming from WandaVision, will once again feature Paul Bettany as the titular character. Following the emotional return of Vision—after events that saw his presumed demise in Avengers: Infinity War—the show will chronicle his journey to reclaim both his fragmented memory and lost humanity. Mollica has been cast in the role of Tucker, a character expected to inject fresh energy into the unfolding narrative.

Joining Bettany are notable names including James Spader, reprising his iconic role as Ultron, alongside Todd Stashwick and Faran Tahir, the latter returning as Raza. This ensemble marks the second spinoff to emerge from the WandaVision universe, following the widely discussed Agatha All Along. The Marvel slate continues to expand on Disney+ with the highly anticipated Daredevil: Born Again scheduled for a March debut.

Mollica’s career has been on a steady ascent. The actor earned a British Independent Film Award nomination for his lead role in Sebastian, which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. His diverse television credits include performances in Witness Number 3, Sexy Beast, and Ridley, with upcoming projects such as the film Sukkwan Island and the Disney+ series A Thousand Blows further solidifying his growing presence on screen. Represented by Conway van Gelder Grant, Stranger Town, Range, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman, Mollica is poised to bring a unique blend of gravitas and nuance to the Marvel universe.

As production ramps up, insiders express optimism that Vision will seamlessly blend nostalgia with innovative storytelling, offering a new perspective on the beloved MCU narrative. Fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting the series, hopeful that this fresh chapter will add depth and intrigue to an ever-expanding superhero saga.
