The new series brings back the Planeteers — Kwame, Wheeler, Linka, Gi, and Ma-Ti — five teens from across the world who use their elemental rings to summon Captain Planet in the fight against environmental destruction. In a fitting tribute to the show’s environmental message, Dynamite is printing the comics on 70% recycled paper. The first issue drops on April 23, just in time for Earth Day, and it even comes with variant covers from artists like Mark Spears, Christian Ward, and Jae Lee.
