Marvel Studios’ new trailer for Thunderbolts, released at D23 Brazil, unveils fresh footage of the highly anticipated team-up film featuring Yelena, Bucky, Red Guardian, John Walker, Ghost, Taskmaster, and Bob (aka Sentry). The trailer, which teases the film’s May 2, 2025, release, also reveals a major MCU development: Avengers Tower now belongs to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
The trailer opens with a scene of the Thunderbolts arriving at the iconic tower, where Valentina breaks the news of her new ownership. “How crazy is it to think of all the monumental fights that happened exactly here where you’re standing,” she remarks. “I mean, the place wasn’t cheap, but it has good optics.”
In another intense sequence, Yelena, Red Guardian, Ghost, and John Walker are pursued by enemy vehicles, only for Bucky to seemingly save the day—until he launches an explosive, turning the tables once more. The trailer showcases action-packed moments between the team members as they clash with each other and outside threats, building anticipation for the MCU’s next big ensemble film.
