Marvel fans, brace yourselves! The debut trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World” has dropped, teasing a major new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Red Hulk. This thrilling glimpse sets the stage for an action-packed film that will undoubtedly shake up the MCU landscape.
The trailer showcases Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, and the legendary Harrison Ford as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross. However, it’s the jaw-dropping appearance of Red Hulk at the trailer’s climax that’s sure to have fans buzzing.
The story kicks off with Thaddeus Ross calling on Sam Wilson, proposing to make Captain America an official tool of the U.S. military—a suggestion that doesn’t sit well with Sam. As the Leader and other players weigh in on global events, the trailer promises plenty of high-octane action, including Sam showcasing his impressive new flight powers. Ross, at one point, pointedly reminds Sam that he’s not Steve Rogers, to which Sam agrees.
The trailer’s final moments reveal Red Hulk catching Captain America’s iconic shield and slamming it into the ground, hinting at a fierce confrontation between Sam and Red Hulk. While this seems like a daunting battle for Sam, Marvel is undoubtedly holding back many surprises. Previous leaks suggested that Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus Ross would transform into a massive, CGI monster, and the trailer confirms this exciting development.

Speculation is rife that “Captain America: Brave New World” could draw from Hulk comic storylines from 2008 to 2010, which prominently featured Red Hulk. Some fans even believe this might be a stealth Hulk movie or possibly Mark Ruffalo’s farewell to the MCU.
Adding to the excitement, Marvel also unveiled the first poster for the film, which is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2025. The trailer further confirms that Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito will join the cast. Reports from May indicated that reshoots were underway to introduce Esposito’s character, reportedly a villain, into the film.
Esposito, who previously expressed interest in playing X-Men leader Professor Xavier, confirmed in May that he would officially join the MCU in a mystery role. He teased fans by describing the role as “better than you can imagine” and hinted that his character would eventually headline their own TV series.
“Captain America: Brave New World” promises to be a monumental entry in the MCU, blending high-stakes action with intriguing character dynamics. As the anticipation builds, fans can look forward to an unforgettable cinematic experience.
