In celebration of Dungeons & Dragons’ 50th anniversary, the UK postal service Royal Mail has teamed up with the iconic role-playing game to release a special line of stamps and merchandise. Illustrated by renowned D&D artist Wayne Reynolds, the set features 14 stamps showcasing classic monsters like the Red Dragon, Owlbear, and Beholder, as well as heroes from The Forgotten Realms, such as a tiefling rogue and a dwarf paladin.
The stamps, available for preorder on July 11, 2024, will launch fully on July 25. Royal Mail is also offering a variety of related products, including posters, post cards, and limited edition collector’s items. Additionally, the 50th anniversary marks the transition from 5th Edition to One D&D rules, with new Core Rulebooks being released from September 17, 2024, through February 18, 2025.
