Meet the Cadets

Bella Shepard
Bella Shepard recently led the Paramount+ series Wolf Pack and has been a familiar face in the Brat series On the Ropes and A Girl Named Jo, as well as the series Two Sides. Her other notable appearances include The Wilds, Witch Hunt, and the iCarly reboot. Shepard also had a lead guest role in the final season of Orange Is the New Black and recurring roles in Life in Pieces and Grace and Frankie.

Kerrice Brooks
Kerrice Brooks is making waves in the entertainment industry as both an actress and a professional dancer. Set to make her feature film debut in My Old Ass, produced by Margot Robbie and directed by Megan Park, Brooks is also starring in the 70s coming-of-age comedy Feeling Randy. Her impressive resume includes performances in The Prom, The Cypher, How We Roll, and On My Block. Starting her career as a professional dancer, Brooks has shared the stage with elite artists like Billie Eilish, Kanye West, Lil Nas X, and Kelly Rowland.

George Hawkins
George Hawkins, known for his role as Dylan in Tell Me Everything, is another rising star joining the Starfleet Academy cast. His previous credits include Sean in the BAFTA-nominated film Boiling Point and Adam in the feature film Gassed Up. Hawkins graduated from London’s Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2023, marking the start of what promises to be a stellar career.

Set in the 32nd century, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy follows the adventures of a new class of cadets as they come of age in the legendary Starfleet Academy. Produced by CBS Studios, the series will begin production later this summer. Here’s the official synopsis:

Filming and Production
Filming for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is set to start at the end of the summer at Pinewood Studios in Toronto, where Star Trek: Discovery was produced. The series will utilize several stages, including Pinewood’s “Mega Stage,” the largest in North America, to bring the San Francisco campus of Starfleet Academy to life.
