Activision has officially announced an exciting crossover event between Call of Duty and Fallout, set to launch on June 20, 2024. This collaboration brings together two iconic franchises, blending the worlds of Modern Warfare and Fallout in a unique and immersive experience.

Event Details and Features

In this crossover, Task Force 141 members Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz will don Vault Dweller skins, complete with Vault-Tec-themed weapon blueprints and other Fallout-inspired items. The in-game event, titled Fallout: Vault Dwellers, will go live at 10am PT on June 20 and run through to 8am PT on June 26.

The event introduces the Tracer Pack: Fallout Vault Dweller Bundle, which includes two Fallout-themed weapon blueprints:

  1. “Vault-Tec Approved” M16 Weapon Blueprint
    • Aftermarket Parts: JAK Cutthroat Stock for speed and stability while aiming down sights, and the JAK Patriot Conversion Kit transforming the M16 into a fully automatic rifle with superior recoil control.
    • Attachments: 45 Round Mag, improving handling and recoil control, ideal for long-range engagements.
  2. “Atomic Disintegrator” HRM-9 Weapon Blueprint
    • Configuration: Geared for close-quarter combat with a 50 Round Drum Magazine, thermal target identification, improved accuracy, and extended range, making it versatile for mid-range battles.

Additionally, the bundle includes a “Vault 141” Operator Skin for Price, Ghost, Soap, and Gaz, along with other cosmetic items such as:

  • “Let’s Do This!” and “Fatman” Charms
  • “Wasteland Workshop” Calling Card
  • “You’re Special” Large Decal
  • “Vault-Tec Engineer” Emblem
  • “Nuka-Cola Spacer” Sticker
  • Six unique loading screens including “Nuka-Cola,” “Please Stand By,” “Survivors’ Journey,” “Sanctuary Hills,” “Vault 141,” and “Restoring Democracy”

Event Challenges and Rewards

During the Fallout: Vault Dwellers event, players can earn additional Fallout-themed cosmetic items by completing challenges across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes. Using any Vault Dweller Skin during the event will provide an XP boost. Available rewards include:

  • “New California Republic” Large Decal
  • “Nuka-Cola Caps” Emblem
  • “Slocum’s Joe” Sticker
  • “Nuka-Cola” Charm
  • “Nuka-Cola Quantum” Weapon Camo

This crossover follows a series of successful Call of Duty collaborations, including events featuring Warhammer 40,000 and Gundam. The Fallout bundle’s release coincides with the rising popularity of Amazon Prime’s Fallout TV show, further igniting interest in the post-apocalyptic universe.

The crossover event was first hinted at in a May datamine, which also suggested upcoming content related to The Crow, anticipated to launch alongside the new movie starring Bill Skarsgard. As Modern Warfare 3 continues to evolve with new updates, Activision is gearing up for the launch of Black Ops 6 in October, with plans to shift focus to new seasons for Black Ops 6 and Warzone later this year.

Stay tuned for more updates and prepare to embrace the Fallout universe in Call of Duty starting June 20!
