Beck Bennett has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Superman film currently in production in Atlanta. Known for his memorable eight-season run on Saturday Night Live, Bennett is set to play a notable reporter at the Daily Planet, adding his unique talent to an already impressive ensemble.

Bennett’s casting brings another layer of excitement to a film that already promises to be a blockbuster. He joins David Corenswet, who stars as Clark Kent/Superman, and Rachel Brosnahan, who will portray Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane. The cast also includes Nicholas Hoult as the iconic villain Lex Luthor, ensuring that the movie will have a powerful dramatic core.

His recent voice work includes the 2023 animated film Nimona and Disney Channel’s Random Things. He also made a cameo in Unfrosted, the Netflix comedy co-written, directed, and starring Jerry Seinfeld.
