MultiVersus, the highly anticipated free-to-play platform fighter from Player First Games, has just dropped a new cinematic launch trailer, revealing two iconic characters joining the fray: Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Agent Smith from The Matrix. The game, which draws comparisons to Nintendo’s popular Smash Bros. series, launches on May 28 and will be available across multiple platforms.

Jason Voorhees and Agent Smith are the latest additions to a star-studded roster that already includes characters from a wide range of Warner Bros.-owned properties. The launch trailer, packed with action and familiar faces, showcases the diversity and excitement of the upcoming title. Jason Voorhees will be available to players right at launch, while Agent Smith will make his debut later in Season 1, aptly named “Puns & Villainy.”

In addition to the new characters, the trailer features glimpses of other beloved figures such as Wonder Woman, The Joker (voiced by Mark Hamill), Velma from Scooby-Doo, Bugs Bunny, Marvin the Martian, Iron Giant, Rick Sanchez, Stripe from Gremlins, and Finn the Human alongside Cake the Cat, a variant of Jake the Dog from Adventure Time.
