Calling all Dunder Mifflin fans! Get ready to return to the world of mockumentary workplace comedy. Peacock has announced a brand new series from the original “The Office” showrunner Greg Daniels and co-creator Michael Koman.
This untitled spinoff will take place within the same universe as the Scranton paper company, but with a fresh twist. The documentary crew will shift their focus to a struggling Midwestern newspaper and its eccentric publisher attempting to revive it with a team of volunteer reporters.

While the series will feature a brand new cast, including Star Wars actor Domhnall Gleeson and The White Lotus star Sabrina Impacciatore, it’s more of a spiritual successor than a full reboot according to Daniels and Koman. Production is set to begin in July, so we can expect to see new office antics unfold sometime in the future!
