The long-awaited next-gen update for Bethesda’s acclaimed open-world RPG, Fallout 4, is finally available, breathing new life into the game for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC players. This significant update not only enhances the gaming experience with improved graphics and performance but also introduces a variety of stability and gameplay fixes across all platforms.

For PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players, the update presents a native version of Fallout 4, labeled as 1.000.001, and takes up approximately 56.503 GB of storage space. Gamers can look forward to a more fluid and visually stunning experience thanks to the introduction of Performance and Quality mode settings. These settings allow players to choose between prioritizing frame rates of up to 60 FPS or enjoying higher resolution graphics, ensuring that each player can tailor their gameplay to their preferences.

Additionally, the update includes various stability improvements and bug fixes, enhancing the overall smoothness and reliability of the game.

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users aren’t left behind, as they too receive a free update focused on stability enhancements along with critical fixes to login issues and quests, ensuring a more stable gameplay experience.

PC gamers will see substantial improvements with this update as well. The free update for PC not only adds support for widescreen and ultra-widescreen displays but also includes important updates to the Creation Kit, which is essential for mod developers. Moreover, the update addresses several quest-related bugs and introduces other mod and stability fixes, making it a comprehensive upgrade for the gaming platform.

For the first time, Fallout 4 will also be available on the Epic Games Store, in addition to its current availability on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and GOG. Furthermore, the game is now Steam Deck verified, offering gamers more ways to play on various devices.

This next-gen update ensures that Fallout 4 remains relevant and enjoyable for both new players and returning veterans, proving that even years after its initial release, Fallout 4 continues to evolve and adapt to the latest gaming technology.
