Disney+’s upcoming X-Men ’97, a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series, is set to introduce classic villains Goblin Queen and X-Cutioner, as revealed by Hasbro’s latest Marvel Legends figure lineup. These additions hint at a dive into the renowned ’80s Inferno storyline, focusing on the Jean Grey-Madelyne Pryor rivalry. The Goblin Queen figure notably includes baby Nathan Summers, hinting at a potential Cable origin story.

Hasbro teases the Goblin Queen as a Jean Grey doppelgänger turned formidable enemy, while X-Cutioner is described as a vengeful, high-tech mercenary. These villains will join a roster featuring Mister Sinister, the Hellfire Club, and the Sentinels. The figures, priced at $24.99 each, are slated for a Spring 2024 release.
Marvel also teased X-Men ’97 footage and introduced a new Black Panther animated spinoff, Eyes of Wakanda, at a recent press screening.
