Peacock is set to bring a fresh twist to the beloved character Ted in a prequel event series, premiering on January 11, 2024.
It’s 1993, and Ted, voiced by Seth MacFarlane, is past his prime. Now in Framingham, Massachusetts, he lives with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), and John’s family.
Ted, though often a bad influence, remains a loyal friend to John. The series promises to explore their unique bond and adventures.
The Creative Minds
Seth MacFarlane not only voices Ted but also serves as executive producer, writer, director, and co-showrunner. Joining him are Paul Corrigan, Brad Walsh, Erica Huggins, Alana Kleiman, Jason Clark, and Aimee Carlson.
