It’s official: Disney Lorcana is soaring to new heights. If you missed out on the first wave of this trading card sensation, Ravensburger has some great news. With a surge in demand for the Disney Lorcana: The First Chapter, the company announced an upcoming reprint, expected in the first quarter of 2024.

But wait, there’s more. The reprint won’t just feature The First Chapter. Ravensburger has confirmed it will also encompass Rise of the Floodborn, the much-awaited second set slated for a November release. Addressing the reprint, Ravensburger said, “The reprint will be available by Holiday 2023 in North America and by January 2024 in Europe.”

Given the demand, the size of this reprint was a burning question. In response, Ryan Miller, Senior Brand Manager at Ravensburger, clarified that while exact numbers couldn’t be divulged, the company’s primary goal is catering to the fans. The reprint will have both starter decks and booster packs.

And for those wondering about allocations for game stores and mass retailers? Miller emphasized their commitment to Independent Hobby retailers, indicating they remain a top priority for Disney Lorcana TCG.

Since its August launch, Disney Lorcana has been nothing short of a phenomenon, with fans queuing overnight at Gen Con, eager to get a piece of the action. Its release led to swift sell-outs, showcasing its immense popularity.

As for the Rise of the Floodborn set, fans can expect two new Starter Decks (Amber/Sapphire and Amethyst/Steel), an Illumineer’s Trove, playmats with Winnie the Pooh and Beast, and card sleeves featuring Mulan and Sisu. Eager to get your hands on them? The local game store launch is on November 17th, with a mass market release on December 1st.
