Lionsgate has secured an eight-figure deal for the domestic rights to the anticipated reboot of “The Crow”, directed by Rupert Sanders and featuring Bill Skarsgård, FKA twigs, and Danny Huston in leading roles. Based on James O’Barr’s graphic novel, the film is a modern take on the 1994 cult classic that tragically marked the final role of Brandon Lee. The screenplay, crafted by Oscar nominee Zach Baylin and Will Schneider, brings the tale of an undead avenger to new audiences. With a $50 million budget, the film was shot in Prague and Munich, with a release expected next year.
