New “Bleach” Chapter Coming this Year
The Bleach manga recently returned with a special chapter set in the future. It showed how the main characters, like Ichigo and Orihime, looked like adults with their own children. The story introduced a new threat to the Soul Society and some of the familiar characters became enemies. It was originally released in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump in 2021 but now the chapter will be released in color later this year.
Spidey Concept Suits Revealed
In the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, there were some alternate designs for Spider-Man’s costume that didn’t make it into the final version. The concept art shows different suits with various elements inspired by previous Spider-Man actors. The final costume was created to incorporate these elements while reflecting Tom Holland’s Peter Parker style. It’s interesting to see the different designs that were considered for the film.
AGDQ is Heading to Pittsburgh!
Games Done Quick has announced that Awesome Games Done Quick will be in Pittsburgh, PA! After scrapping the Florida event, AGDQ will be held at the Wyndham Hotel and Resorts in downtown Pittsburgh – marking the return of in-person speedrunning for the first time since 2020.
Starfield Early Access Begins
Bethesda’s game Starfield is set to release on September 6, but some regions will get early access on September 1st. The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass, allowing subscribers to play it on Xbox and PC without extra cost. However, Microsoft has removed the $1 Game Pass trial option. Game Pass subscribers will receive pre-order content, but there is a separate Early Access period for those who purchased Premium editions of the game. The game can be pre-loaded now, as it requires a large 140 GB download.
Hulu Cancels “The Great”
Hulu has canceled the show “The Great” after three seasons. The series was about Catherine the Great and her life as Russia’s empress. It starred Elle Fanning and Nicholas Hoult. The third season focused on Catherine and Nicholas working on their marriage. The show received positive reviews and seven Emmy nominations. It won an Emmy for Outstanding Period Costumes in 2022. However, Hulu has not provided a reason for the cancellation. The finale of the third season showed Catherine’s growth as a ruler. “The Great” also featured Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge, Sacha Dhawan, Bayo Gbadamosi, and Belinda Bromilow.
