Sony has introduced new hardware products for PlayStation, including the PlayStation Portal remote play device, the Pulse Explore wireless earbuds, and the Pulse Elite wireless headset. These products provide immersive gaming experiences with features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, as well as low latency lossless audio through the use of PlayStation Link wireless technology.

PlayStation Portal
Introducing PlayStation Portal, a handheld device that brings the PS5 experience right to your fingertips. With its 8-inch high-definition screen, you can enjoy all the amazing features of the PS5, like the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the DualSense controller. It’s perfect for gamers who want to play their favorite PS5 games in any room of the house. You can easily connect the PlayStation Portal to your PS5 over Wi-Fi and switch between playing on your console and on the handheld device. Please note that it supports games installed on the PS5 console and uses the DualSense controller, but it doesn’t work with PS VR2 games or cloud streaming games through PlayStation Plus Premium.

Pulse Elite wireless headset & Pulse Explore wireless earbuds

Pulse Elite and Pulse Explore headsets can connect directly to the PlayStation Portal using PlayStation Link. This new wireless audio technology offers low latency, lossless audio, and easy switching between multiple PlayStation Link hosts like PS5. When using these headsets with PS5, you will need the included USB adapter. It can also be used on PC and Mac for the same high-quality audio experience. Additionally, these headsets can connect to both a PlayStation Link device and a Bluetooth device simultaneously. For example, you can connect Pulse Explore to PS5 via PlayStation Link and also connect it to your mobile phone through Bluetooth to answer calls while gaming.
