Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Announced: Bigger, Better, and More Fun!
Developers Ludosity and Fair Play Labs, along with publisher GameMill Entertainment, have announced Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, a sequel to the hit multiplayer brawler. The game promises more characters, stages, and modes, along with a new campaign to stop Danny Phantom’s Vlad Plasmius. It will feature full crossplay and new powerful Supers. Coming soon to Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Riot’s Project L: A Unique 2v2 Tag-Based Fighter with Duo Play and Customizable Fuses
Riot’s upcoming fighting game, codenamed Project L, will be a 2v2 tag-based fighter with a unique twist. Players can control both characters, tagging them in and out, or team up with another player for four-player (or three-player) matches. The system, called Duo Play, encourages teamwork and supports 1v1, 2v2, and 2v1 matchups.
Additionally, Project L will feature the Fuse system, allowing teams to customize how their champions play together. Fuses offer powerful synergies that change the Duo Play style, providing opportunities for player expression. The game will have a playable demo at the Evolution Championship Series (Evo 2023), where attendees can try out Champions like Ahri, Darius, Ekko, Jinx, Katarina, and Illaoi.

New Monster Hunter Release Date Revealed
Capcom and Niantic have revealed the launch date for the highly-anticipated augmented reality game, Monster Hunter Now. Set to release on Sept. 14, players can pre-register on the official website and earn in-game bonuses based on the number of sign-ups. The game will feature various monster and weapon types from the beloved action role-playing series. With Niantic’s expertise in location-based gaming and a successful closed beta test, Monster Hunter Now shows great potential to be a hit. Capcom’s early enthusiasm and a dedicated Tokyo development team further bolster expectations, making it a strong contender for the next augmented reality gaming sensation.

Xbox Rolls Out New Home Screen
Microsoft is introducing a new home user interface for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, aimed at improving the user experience. The update offers easier game discovery, personalization, and community engagement. Notable features include a quick access menu, expanded personalized background space, and the ability to match backgrounds with highlighted games. Users can enjoy curated game lists, pin favorite games and system groups to the home screen, and explore updated Friends & Community and Watch & Listen sections. The rollout is gradual, with the update currently reaching a subset of Xbox consoles, and others will receive it in the coming weeks.
