Hulu has released the first trailer for the highly anticipated eighth season of Futurama, signaling its return after a decade since its last ending. The comedy series follows a delivery crew from the distant future and promises new adventures, problems, and characters from unexpected corners of time and space. Unlike previous seasons, the upcoming season will adopt a weekly release model, generating buzz throughout the summer. The show’s premise originated in 1999 when Philip J. Fry, who accidentally got frozen for a thousand years, woke up to a world he didn’t recognize. He then joined forces with Professor Farnsworth and became part of the Planet Express crew. Fry’s love interest, Turanga Leela, initially uninterested, eventually fell for him, forming a central romantic storyline.
