To recuperate, he took a break in Mexico for a week and has now decided to take a year off. Production began in September 2021, with filming taking place in Greece, London, and Bulgaria. “The Expendables 4” is set to be Stallone’s final appearance in the franchise. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on September 22, 2023.

Born in Iran in 1942, the wrestler, whose real name was Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, began his career in the Olympics before joining the American Wrestling Association (AWA) in 1972. He later moved to the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1979 and became known for his feuds with notable wrestlers such as Bob Backlund and Hulk Hogan. Sheik was a high-profile heel and won the WWF Championship in 1983. He continued wrestling and made appearances in various promotions, returning to WWF in 1991 as Colonel Mustafa. After retiring from the ring, he gained popularity through his appearances on The Howard Stern Show and his active presence on social media. The Iron Sheik is survived by his wife and children.
Adult Swim’s “Checkered Past” Brings Classic Cartoon Network Shows to Expanded Lineup
Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block is expanding its daily lineup by adding classic Cartoon Network shows to its schedule. The new block called “Checkered Past,” will feature shows like Ed, Edd n Eddy, Dexter’s Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. It will replace some of the current Cartoon Network shows in Adult Swim’s schedule. The expansion comes after the success of Adult Swim’s previous one-hour extension of daily programming. The “Checkered Past” block will air Monday through Friday at 6 p.m., while Saturdays will consist of reruns of Adult Swim’s original shows, and Sundays will continue with the “Acme Night” block. The move aims to appeal to both current and nostalgic audiences, as these classic shows have a lasting fanbase. The new lineup is set to launch on August 28.
