Universal Studios has reportedly found its lead for the live-action adaptation of “How to Train Your Dragon” in “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” star Jack Dylan Grazer. Industry insider Daniel Richtman recently revealed that Grazer is among the actors in talks for the lead role of Hiccup Haddock, originally voiced by Jay Baruchel in the animated trilogy. Richtman also claimed that Auli’i Cravalho is in final talks for the role of Hiccup’s love interest, Astrid Hofferson, while Joel Edgerton is rumored to play Hiccup’s father, Stoic the Vast. These casting rumors have yet to be confirmed by the studio. The live-action adaptation, which will be written and directed by Dean DeBlois, is set to release in theaters on March 14, 2025.
