It is unclear what this announcement could be, but it may not be a film, as Darkseid was left off James Gunn and Peter Safran’s Chapter 1 plans for the new DCU. Snyder’s return to the DCEU seems unlikely, as DC Studios’ new bosses are moving on from the previous films.
