Jude Law in Talks to Play Captain Hook

According to Variety, Jude Law is in talks to play Hook in the live-action remake of Disney’s Peter Pan. The project has already cast its Peter with Alexander Molony from “The Reluctant Landlord” and “Claude”. Wendy will be played by Ever Anderson from “Resident Evil: Final Chapter”. The film has been in the works since 2016 with director David Lowery attached. Lowery worked with Disney in the past when he remade “Pete’s Dragons”. There is no doubt that Law will be compared to Dustin Hoffman’s portrayal in Spielberg’s Hook. There have been other Peter Pan retellings but Hoffman’s Captain Hook has been the gold standard.
